Synopsis

"Heart of Stone, Feet of Clay"

Dr. Harry Kay tells Swamp Thing and his allies that he was a kapo, a Jewish trusty of the Nazi guards at Dachau. Paul Feldner reveals that Casey Clancy is the "herald" of the Beast, the "antichrist" foretold in the Book of Revelation. To stop her, Harry Kay and his aide Alan reconstruct the Golem, but it senses Casey's presence in a locket on Swamp Thing's body and moves to destroy him.

"And I Shall Stand in the Shadow of Death"

Millicent Bedford wishes to ease her aged, comatose mother by disconnecting her from a life-support system. But the Phantom Stranger shows her the fate that might befall her mother if she dies.
